Here’s a little taster of what to expect from Mawkin on tour this month!
Had an awesome time recording a song for a documentary Jools Holland is putting together. Mawkin and Eliza Carthy were asked to play our song ‘Bad Girls Lament’ from our forthcoming album ‘Crow’. Had a really nice day in London - filmed the song in Berry Bros wine/whiskey merchants; a lovely old shop with the very best in whiskey, wine and other spirits .. walked around London for a bit and was reminded that it is one of the best cities in the world. I love my job sometimes!
Well I’m back from the Cruise ship! 4 Months at Sea! I had a great time, I got back on the 9th of September and on the 10th of September I was back gigging with my folk band Mawkin.. here is a free download we are currently spreading around, have a listen and let me know what you think.
